This dress was beautiful in pictures and hugs your body just right. The back is a tie back, and so can be tightened or loosened depending on your comfort level and desired look. The dress does have a bustle to pull up the train. I only wore this indoors for 3 fittings and once outdoors for the actual wedding. It has been professionally cleaned with no visible damage. It has never left the box since I received the dress back from cleaners.
